On August 10, Bahá’í youth, their friends, and participants from the junior youth program came together for “Youth Empowerment Day” planned by the National Bahá’í Youth committee.
The day included learning, play, and fun. They learned about what young people can do to make the world a better place. They focused on the many choices each person makes daily and the ripple effects those decisions have, the negative and positive forces on young people, and how to tackle big issues such as abuse, teen pregnancy, drugs, and gangs.
